AMD vs Intel: Resistance A Tough Processors

Inevitably, the processor market competition more recently heated up with two camps as a major player competition, which Intel has long dominated the market and AMD has recently launched many products that work performance is threatening the dominance of Intel.

Impartially on the Intel and AMD, and let you know as a consumer, the tough competition these companies to dominate the market from one season to the next does not always make a product from one company to be better than other company's products and vice versa.

Actually it would be better if it had a third option, but unfortunately all the technology

As we know now, Intel dominates the processor market, both in terms of price, performance, and of course in terms of quality assurance. Of course this opinion arises regardless of AMD in it.

So far, AMD has been slow in handling the 'rigidity' in technology development, slipping the launch date of AMD may have caused death in the face of competing measures, and the results that have made AMD's $ 5 billion owed to the ATI at the beginning of this year.

AMD 690G chipset is one famous example of success, and if Intel has taught us anything, it's all the way to generalize the chipset dominance in the PC market. AMD did not fall asleep in the wheel rotation processor technology. Maybe a lot of late, but not dead. Currently AMD has prepared a powerful processor called 'K10', and a processor improvement of 'Barcelona'. Not much is known about the performance of AMD's desktop processors to come (K10 Phenom X2 and X4) now, but we must find out quickly whether 'Agena' and 'Kuma' this will make Intel a loss.

While many successful AMD products lately, it will be a lot of his colleagues who follow him, while ensuring that the success of Intel Core 2 Duo processors will be perfect design for a future chipset. As they say, "This is the name chipset".

Intel Core 2 Duo is a very efficient processor, the value of the TDP (Thermal Design Power) is only about half of which used a series of Pentium 4 / D, and in actual usage tests showed that the computer systems that use Intel Core 2 Duo did save a lot energy.

That all is good, this is lifted Intel not because the velocity within a few points, but because the Core 2 Duo is much faster and very competitive price. Perhaps the value of a processor is still often we look so far. To remember is that although Intel's Extreme Edition are still highly valued, but still considered very reasonable for a desktop CPU innovation. Compare with AMD processors with relatively the same price, Intel would still be on it.

So, as already discussed above, actually When does the time for AMD or Intel? Intel still wins this round. The point is that the maneuvers are still exceeds AMD Intel, also a whole generation of multiple processors available. Performance Core 2 Duo is very satisfactory, which is why many recommend it.

But before closing this discussion, there is one more thing to remember. Throughout our comparison based on brand loyalty and performance test only, then there would not be much of a choice of the latest technology and best. The most important thing now is if you use the computer now able to meet all your computing needs, then you no longer need to bother choosing between Intel and AMD. (Dna) Transmeta best of disputed legitimacy of his intellectual property. Still just about the energy savings that are considered more important in any comparison of the performance of day to day.
